During the nutrition meeting, we will go over your custom meal plan to help you reach your weight loss goals. This is going to be a series of lists and a series of meals for you to choose from. For example, you will have protein, carb, and healthy fat. You also want to assure you have enough fiber in your diet to break down bacteria in the stomach. Fiber will break down bad bacteria that is created from eating unhealthy.

Healthy fats help with giving you energy throughout your day and maintaining it. One example of healthy fat would be avocado. It is probably our clients’ most used healthy fat. We will also provide snack lists for you to have snacks in between meals.  A perfect example of a snack would be apples with almond butter. You want to make sure that your snack is just a snack size and not too large. This is a mistake our clients make while snacking throughout the day. Instead of actually having full meals, they tend to skip meals and this is a mistake. Your metabolism will suffer if you continue skipping meals. You also have to send in meal pictures daily so we know you are not skipping meals.

We want to make sure you are drinking enough water especially when you are working out with us. Your Buford personal trainer will remind you to take small water breaks during your workout. We do this because you are going to be sweating a lot with a high intensity workout. It is important to hydrate so that you do not cramp up during your workout. You want to make sure you don’t have drinks high in sugar such as juice, tea, or soda.  We want to avoid foods and drinks with sugar because sugar is not our friend. Sugar does not help you lose weight and will cause cramps during workouts. This is why you need to have nutrient dense foods or whole foods.
