Many people assume that working out has to be done in person all the time in order to see results. I am here to tell you that is the farthest thing from the truth. Working out virtually can still allow you to see results and reach your health and fitness goals. The solution? Buford personal training. We offer in person and virtual personal training sessions and have worked with clients all over the country. We have had clients exceed their health and fitness goals even trained virtually. There are actually several clients who thoroughly enjoy training virtually rather than in person. The one main difference about virtual training vs. in person training is simply your fitness coach is not physically there with you, but they still plan your workouts for you and go through every exercise with you. The benefit to having Buford personal training offer virtual training is it separates us from the competition and allows us to have clients all over the country. We coordinate with our clients’ schedules and meet with them via Zoom if they prefer to do virtual training. All that we ask is they have some dumbbells on hand, an ab mat, and some space to workout in. We can still meet with virtual clients and offer them a free fitness assessment.

We will discuss their health and fitness goals and learn more about if they want to lose weight or if they want to put on more muscle. Every client is different. Buford personal training can help every type of client, whether they are losing weight or toning up more. And it can even be done virtually. We treat our virtual clients just like our in person clients. We still talk about the three pillars of health–fitness, nutrition, and accountability. They will have to send their meal pictures to their fitness coach for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They will also meet with their coach once a week for their weekly accountability meeting to discuss their progress, celebrate their wins, and see what they need to work on.

With so many people working from home these days, they get so excited when they tell them we offer virtual personal training. So many people have decided to become healthy and purchase different gym equipment to be able to workout from home. Things like dumbbells, medicine balls, ab mats, yoga mats, Pelotons, and more. We do not require a ton of equipment because we do so many exercises with dumbbells that are compound movements and target multiple muscle groups at one time. We will also do isolation movements as well with those dumbbells and abdominal exercises using the medicine ball on the ab mat. Those are the three main pieces of equipment you will need for virtual personal training. Our virtual clients will still have a thirty minute, high intensity workout that will make them feel like their trainer is standing right next to them. They will still be held to the same standard as the rest of our clients. We want to make sure all of our clients are treated the same and understand they are our number one priority. Call us today to schedule your free fitness assessment and learn more about our virtual personal training option!

Why Is This Buford Personal Training Working?

There are a lot of people that are intimidated by using free weights. They automatically assume they are going to become too bulky or they feel like they don’t know what they are doing when they see the free weights area at the gym. With the help of a Buford Personal Training, you will understand how to properly use free weights and the benefits to using them. You may not know this, but we do offer virtual personal training. Free weights are a huge benefit to those virtual clients because free weights can be used anywhere, which is perfect for clients working out at home. Often with using free weights, you can also see more results than simply just using resistance machines. That is why you will notice your Buford personal trainer does not use resistance machines often. You can also do a variety of exercises and compound movements using free weights. When you do not use any free weights and just use your body weight, you will still see results. It just might take a little bit longer to see them.

There are several different compound exercises you can do without weights such as burpees, push ups, squat jumps, squats, and so much more. All of these exercises allow you to burn fat and lose weight. With using free weights, you will notice more muscle definition than you would without using free weights. The most important thing to know is that you will be doing a high intensity workout for thirty minutes with your Buford Personal Training. You will be using mostly free weights during your workouts, but there will also be exercises that require no weights. As I mentioned before, most females are intimidated by free weights and think they are going to become “bulky” if they use them. They also try to avoid going by the free weights section in the gym, but that mostly has to do with not being educated enough on how to use free weights properly or which exercises to do.

However, your fitness coach can help you learn about how to use free weights properly and show you that you will not become “bulky” if you use them. Girls who use free weights often have more muscle definition in their upper body and lower body and become very strong with lifting free weights. On the other hand, those who do not use free weights can still have a lot of muscle definition and be very strong. There are still plenty of exercises and movements to do that do not require free weights. You are still doing compound exercises that work multiple muscle groups at one time and burn a lot of calories and fat simultaneously. At Built Phoenix Strong, we like to offer potential clients a free fitness assessment to put them through a training session to see what it is like, what types of exercises they can expect to do, and what our training style is like. Our clients are always amazed at how many calories they can burn and how hard their workout can be within thirty minutes. By having hardly any rest in between sets, this makes the workout extra challenging and requires a lot of strength and endurance. But the benefit to that is our Buford Personal Training clients are able to see physical results and changes even within their first month.
